Pole Fitness Classes
Pole Kittens Level 1
Every passion needs a starting point and our Pole Kittens is the prerequisite for all Iron X classes. In Pole Kittens, pole students will learn the beginner tricks, moves and spins to build that serve as foundations for pole. We were all pole kittens once, so we know the importance of strong fundamentals! Comfortable shorts/booty shorts, tank tops/
t-shirts and sports bras are recommended as attire for this class. For your safety, please NO heels.
Only one Pole Kittens class is required to begin taking an "All Levels" and Level 1 classes. Every person is different, but we recommend at least 8 weekly Pole Kittens classes before moving on to Level 2 Iron Tricks. Students must have a strong climb and basic understanding of fundamental spins and tricks to advance.
Pole Kittens is NOT required for lyra, aerial yoga, or no apparatus classes such as handstands or stretch.
Level 2 Iron Tricks Beginner/Intermediate
Are you ready for the next level? Level 2 Iron Tricks will introduce you to next level tricks, transitions, spins and combos. Each week, pole students will learn several tricks, spins and combos. Students will also begin learning inversions including basic invert, inside and outside leg hangs. Comfortable shorts/booty shorts, tank tops/t-shirts and sports bras are recommended as attire for this class. For your safety, please NO heels.
Students require instructor approval to begin Level 2 Iron Tricks is a prerequisite to Level 3 Iron Tricks.
Level 3 Iron TricksIntermediate
Ready to experience life upside-down? Iron Inverters will introduce you to techniques on how to defy gravity while you start to see the world in a different way. Students will learn inverted tricks to strengthen your upside-down journey!
Comfortable shorts/booty shorts, tank tops/t-shirts and sports bras are recommended as attire for this class. For your safety, please NO heels.
This class is a prerequisite to Level 4. Students require instructor approval to begin in Level 4 Iron Tricks.
Level 4 Iron TricksAdvanced
Where others see a challenge, we see opportunity. Take yourself to your limited in our advanced tricks class where students will learn advanced tricks, spins and combos. Recommended attire is shorts, bare feet and a comfortable top. Heels are not allowed in this class.
Students must have a strong invert into leg hangs, stable shoulder mounts, and be comfortable with maintaining an inversion to take Iron Tricks Advanced.
Students must have instructor approval to join Level 4 Iron Tricks.
Iron Conditioning All Levels
Pole is about uniting strength and physics to train your body to defy gravity. At Iron X Fitness, we understand the importance of the training to find that strength. Iron Conditioning is designed to push you, strengthen you and improve your overall pole performance. In these classes, pole students will focus on exercise-like pole moves to help gain "pole muscles," strengthen your core and learn about proper engagement for success.
Comfortable shorts/booty shorts, leggings, tank tops/t-shirts and sports bras are recommended as attire for this class. For your safety, please NO heels.
Pole Kittens is the prerequisite for Iron Conditioning.
Open StudioAll Levels
Need to practice, but maybe you don't have a pole at home? Open Pole is time for students to come in to the studio and work on their skills. Students may help themselves to the crash mats, lyras and aerial hammocks.
Please only do tricks within your level! This is not a guided class and instruction is not provided. Students are responsible for their own safety during this time.
There are no prerequisites for this class.
Pole Dance Classes
X Dance Foundations - Beginner
Strong never felt so sexy as it does with our X Dance Foundations pole dance class. Pole sisters will take their fundamentals from Pole Kittens into a choreographed dance routine. Don’t be nervous! We keep things fun and these routines fairly basic for dancers of all experience levels. Whether it’s your first routine ever or your 100th routine simply because you enjoy it, X Dance Foundations allows pole sisters to find their style and experience a pole routine.
Comfortable shorts/booty shorts, tank tops/t-shirts, leggings and sports bras are all acceptable as attire for this class. Leg warmers are also encouraged.
Students have the option of wearing heels but they are NOT required for X Foundation. Socks are encouraged as well.

Chair DanceAll Levels
Time to get a little wild in our Chair Dance class! In these classes, we blend together pole and chair to make magic. Students will learn chair/pole combos and tricks in a choreographed routine.
Comfortable shorts/booty shorts, tank tops/t-shirts, leggings and sports bras are all acceptable as attire for this class. Leg warmers are also encouraged.
Students have the option of wearing heels but they are NOT required for Chair Dance. Socks are encouraged as well.
Play, Girl! Artistry in MovementAll Levels
A class for all people and all levels of dance from beginner to experienced. Get out of your head and into your imagination as you explore the art of movement in this freestyle class. The primary focus of this class is to translate your own personal expression into dance.
Each class we will journey into a variety of freestyle games, as well as focusing on technique and creativity in one foundational element of dance that you can take with you into your pole trick combos, choreography, and of course, your freestyle!
Clothing layers recommended but not required. You may dance however you are comfortable. I recommend options such as pole shorts if you want some pole stick, as well as pants or knee pads, a shirt, and socks for rolling around on the floor.

Twerk It! PoleAll Levels
Time to shake it like a Polaroid picture with our Twerk Pole class! We blend floorwork, pole dance and a healthy helping of booty shaking to spice up every routine to its max. Whether your a twerk master or trying to get your booty moving for the first time, this class is sure to be tons of fun.
Don't forget your knee pads and water for this class! Twerk Pole can be intense on the knees, so those with knee injuries should be sure to let the instructor know ahead of time. Sneakers are recommended for this class - please no heels though!

Lap DanceAll Levels
Less talk, more grinding with these super sexy routines. Learn the art of striptease for an audience of one in our student favorite class. This class will explore having a partner in a chair and how to let your temptress run the show through floorwork, body rolls and chair tricks. Whether you have a partner waiting at home, or you're single and just looking for an exciting routine to take home with you, Lap Dance class is for you!
Please DO NOT bring your partner to class! We might like it weird at Iron X... but not that weird.
This class has no prerequisites.
Russian Choreography Level 2-4
Russian Choreography combines floor work and low flow of Plastic Strip and acrobatics Pole Elements. Class will help give you the ability to control the body – work on elasticity, coordination, emotions, proper execution of dance elements. If you’ve ever longed to dance like Eva Bembo, Daria Che or Olga Koda, this class is for you. You will get a great cardio workout, gain strength and agility, develop a fluid pole flow, most dancers notice a difference in their bodies and in dance style within the first month of taking regular classes.
Students MUST wear heels and knee protection, preferably pole knee pads, otherwise students may not be able to maximize their experience in this class.

Liquid FloorworkAll Levels
In this class students will learn the foundations of the Liquid Motion methodology and floorwork. This 75 min class will focus on transitions, pathways and sequencing movement (windows & threading, pivoting, tilting/tucking) to fully understand how to move more seamless and fluid. Students will need knee pads and a pair of socks. Heels only to be worn at the approval of the instructor.

Stretch & FleXAll Levels
Splits, back bends, and straddles everywhere! Time to loosen up and stretch it out. Whether you’re looking to perfect a split, nail a wider fan kick or just relax and release the stressors of the day, Stretch and FleX class is right for you. We turn down the lights, turn up the soothing music and will work on all levels of flexibility.
Comfortable attire such a yoga pants are encouraged. You are welcome to bring your own mat to class.

Beginner LyraLevel 1
Whether you've seen them at the circus, in shows or at a competition, lyra (also known as aerial hoop) has been a beautiful and long standing aerial apparatus. In Beginner Lyra, students will learn basic level lifts, tricks & transitions, as well as strength training. Students will work on combining tricks into into a combo of their own making.
No experience required. Students are highly encouraged to wear leggings and bare feet. If you prefer the unwrapped lyra, shorts are recommended.

Aerial HammockAll Levels
In Aerial Hammock, students will discover a fun way to gain strength and flexibility! Students will learn aerial holds, yoga-like poses and be challenged by this apparatus.
Students are recommended to wear capri or ankle length cotton pants and cotton short or long sleeve shirts.
Avoid the shiny jogger material pants as they can be slippery. Tank tops are also not recommend.
Please, remember to remove all jewelry, to protect yourself and the fabric.
